Data collection, to save the children.
Discord is the latest bigname company to commit to this offense. California is the latest government to commit this sin. These entities are stealing our data so they can centralize the metadata to identify every single person; now why? So we cannot properly have any form of civil disobedience, so we cannot have a controversial opinion, so we cannot do the wrong thing.
Do not be fooled, the same people instituting these regulations are the same people we keep seeing on certain list. They haven’t even released the entirety of the documents the United State’s collection of the pdf-files, and yet those same individuals can jump on a high perch and scream about kids safety online and require everyone to submit government issued identification to some database they control? This is a huge invasion of privacy and security risk.
